The game of golf has been played in Fleetwood since 1861, when officers from the barracks played for "The Olympic" on the dunes by the North Euston hotel. Three sites of golf have been used in the town until our current location was opened in 1932. The course is a traditional seaside links, with subtle undulations and punishing rough, rewarding accuracy off the tee. We have four sets of tees blue, red, yellow, white offering golfers of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy links golf.

Our 18 recently-established USGA greens contribute to a rolling parkland course of high quality with a testing par of 69, with the course inspiring and challenging in equal measure. It is delightfully varied, plays well throughout the year and is a firm favourite with visiting parties, corporate golf days, or with our popular Open Competitions.

Preston Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming club set in 120 acres of stunning, tranquil parkland. Our superb 18 hole, 6,278 yard, par 71 course dates back to 1892, with the design influenced by such luminaries as James Braid, Harry Vardon, Alistair Mackenzie & Sandy Herd.  It has a wonderful variety of holes plus superb USGA constructed greens that offer a challenge to players of all abilities.

Founded in 1897, this well-established golf course is set in 127 acres of rolling moorland with stunning views stretching from the South Lakes to North Wales. At 6,284 yards the 18 hole course provides an excellent challenge to both the skilled and less skilled golfer.
Chorley Golf Club has developed a reputation of being one of the finest golf courses in the area and recent improvements to both the course and clubhouse have further enhanced its standing. The aim is to provide members, guests and visitors alike with the best possible golfing experience.

A Course of two halves. The first nine holes go along the side of the Estuary with fabulous views of the River Wyre. When the tide is in and the boats are sailing, teeing off on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th is breath-taking.
The back nine goes down into a valley with tree lined fairways and our signature hole (watch out ~ it can ruin your card.) The best thing about the course is it’s playability for both low and high handicap players.

Leyland Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course, 6298 yards long, par 70. It possesses a large practice area available to members and visitors, with practice bunker, chipping facilities and a 9 hole putting green. The course is professionally landscaped and has many distinctive features, including several water hazards.

A par 71 course measuring 6359yds from the white tees. A fairly flat course that provides a fair test of golf for players of all abilities. 
Featuring a selection of tricky par 3s, most notably the picturesque 6th where out of bounds awaits any over hit tee shots. 
The greens are small and elusive and the course has a reputation for being one of the best kept in the North West.
